Sunil PALIWAL – Production Technology
Sunil started his petroleum industry career in 1989 with Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) followed by ENRON and BG Exploration and Production India Ltd. (BGEPIL) in India. He has diversified experience in oil industry ranging from facility engineering, production operation and production technology. His areas of contribution to industry includes planning for rig-less work-over, field production optimization, well integrity management, sand management issues and application of new technologies for developing innovative solution.
He holds bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from REC Jaipur, MBA from IGNOU New Delhi and Certified Petroleum Manager from Indian School of Petroleum New Delhi. He is currently pursuing Masters of Leadership and Management (MLM) from Curtin University.

SUPRA RAMACHANDRAN – Production Engineering
Supra began his career in the petroleum industry with the Malaysian Petronas Group, where he was intimately involved in numerous offshore and onshore oil and gas developments throughout his 14 years with the company. While engaged with Petronas Supra held various positions, including reservoir engineer, senior petroleum engineering and field development project manager. Through his assortment of roles with the company Supra developed an extensive knowledge of core petroleum disciplines and was involved in their application throughout various Malaysian and South East Asian fields.
Supra is currently Director of the AWT Malaysia regional office and Principal Production Technologist for pre-area development plan network modeling. To date he has project managed the successful delivery of conceptual field development solutions for challenging Malaysian offshore gas fields, rejuvenation strategies for mature fields in North Africa and various studies involving the application of new technologies and pioneering well designs in complex fields.
Supra holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering (Hons) from the University of Technology, Malaysia and a Master of Petroleum Engineering (Distinction) from Curtin University, Western Australia.

BYRON RUSSERT – Completion Engineering
Graduating from Texas A and M University with a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1988, Byron’s initially accumulated indepth experience designing and testing downhole completion equipment, then providing applications and product support for Baker Oil Tools worldwide operations.
Subsequently, Byron relocated to Perth, Western Australia and managed the cased-hole product lines covering the Asia Pacific region.
Byron joined AWT in 2003 and began working with Woodside as a completions engineer and well services supervisor on North West Shelf and Timor Sea assets.
Most recently Byron has been on assignment as a senior completions engineer with INPEX working on their Ichthys gas field development, located in the Browse Basin offshore Western Australia.

ROBYN TAMKE – Flow Assurance
Robyn commenced working in the oil and gas industry after graduating from Flinders University of South Australia in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Chemistry. Initially she worked for Amdel Petroleum Services in Adelaide as a Petroleum Chemist. This role included operation of the gas chromatography laboratory, trace element analysis and fieldwork in support of exploration and production processes.
In 1995, Robyn joined Petrotech as their Manager, Australasian Operations. Here she had technical and commercial responsibility for the development of their Australian base from agency to operational base. The technical facet of this role included;
- Project management to design, implement and execute, analytical and sampling programmes to support client operations (logging, well testing and production)
- Provide technical recommendations regarding reservoir fluid analysis and non-hydrocarbon constituents
- Consider requirements for production facility design
During this time, Robyn completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA, 2003) at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM).
Robyn joined AWT in 2006, as their Flow Assurance Coordinator to develop and support this business segment for AWT.

JUSTIN BETTRIDGE – Well Test Engineering
After graduating from the University of Western Australia with first class honours in Oil and Gas Engineering, Justin joined Schlumberger Well Completions and Productivity as a field engineer. Justin personally planned and supervised over 50 DST/TCP operations and 20 well completion installations, primarily in the Gulf of Mexico but also in Australia, onshore U.S.A. and Central America. Justin later transferred into Schlumberger line management and was involved in operations management, technical support and quality assurance for the Completions, RMC, Well Testing (DST/TCP and Surface), Subsea, Sand Control, and Slick-line service groups for GOM operations.
Since joining the AWT Perth office, Justin has fulfilled such operational roles as Work-over Supervisor (4 x STAG wells), Completions Supervisor (4 x Cliff Head Completions, 1 x TAG Completion), Well Services Supervisor (1 x CHA CTU Intervention), and Well Test Supervisor (1 x TAG Well Test). He has also fulfilled such support roles as Well Test Coordinator (Apache) and been involved in technical support, design and operations planning for numerous clients in Perth.

JAMIE MARSDEN – Subsea Engineering
Jamie has vast experience with over 25 years in the oil & gas industry. Starting out as Development Engineer with Cameron then moving on to several positions in Sales/Service and Marketing, Jamie has been involved in many U.K, Norwegian and Australian projects both sub-sea and platform.
Moving to Perth from U.K in1994, Jamie has supported Woodside Energy Ltd with installation and start-up of high flow gas wells on their North West Shelf platforms. Jamie joined AWT in 2001 and was contracted to Woodside assisting with interventions and new well completions in their sub-sea developments in the Timor sea and North West Shelf.
Returning to AWT offices in 2006, Jamie provides expertise in sub-sea and wellhead areas of the business with various projects managed by AWT.

DOMINIC BRUEHWILER – Well Intervention
Dominic Bruehwiler joined BHP Petroleum in 1990. He spent 3 years in the Well Services Department gaining in-depth experience in subsea well operations. During this time Dominic reached the position of lead engineer and was involved in the planning and execution of workovers and completions on all BHP Petroleum's Timor Sea and North West Shelf operations. He was also involved in all aspects of exploration well testing in these regions. Following this, he transferred to the Production Department in Darwin where he was the Senior Production Engineer for all three Timor Sea FPSO's (Challis, Skua, Jabiru).
Dominic joined Advanced Well Technologies in February 1997 and after working on an initial contract with BHP Petroleum moved on to various projects well testing and completions contracts with Apache Energy Ltd, Premier Oil Australasia, New Zealand Oil and Gas, Woodside Energy Limited and Phillips Petroleum.
