Cameron MANIFOLD – Founder & Chief Executive Officer

CAMERON MANIFOLD

Graduating from Queensland University in 1986, Cameron has in excess of 20 years experience in the upstream oil and gas sector, working initially in the Australian onshore sector and then moving to the offshore sector in 1988. Cameron has extensive experience in field development particularly in the subsea sector from involvement on a large number of projects in Australia, Asia, Africa and the UK. He has specific expertise in horizontal well completion design and well intervention technologies.

Cameron is a co-founder of Advanced Well Technologies and additionally serves as director on the Boards of a number of related subsidiary companies in Australia and Asia. In 2002, in recognition of the rapid growth and success of AWT, Cameron was a recipient of the Western Australian Business News’ award as one of the top 40 business people under 40 years of age in the State.


 

Kevin LAY – Executive Director

KEVIN LAY

Kevin joined BHP Petroleum in Melbourne as a graduate in 1982 and held a number of positions on projects in Australia and Vietnam with roles in production operations, reservoir engineering, well services, completions engineering, production technology and asset management.

In 1996, Kevin co-founded AWT and commenced consultancy work for a number of clients throughout Australia and Asia on a wide range of projects. Kevin has specific expertise in well design and is regionally recognised for his expertise in big-bore gas well design. He recently led AWT’s involvement on the Galoc project in the Philippines, successfully delivering this EPCM contract for 2 subsea wells.

Kevin has authored and co-authored a number of Society of Petroleum Engineering papers in the fields of completions design and subsea engineering.


Peter DOWDING – Non-executive Director

PETER DOWDING

Peter Dowding has extensive oil and gas experience through an employment period with BP earlier in his career and until recently headed DB Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Deutsche Bank in Australia. Peter is also a former Chairman of the Australian Venture Capital Association.

In 2007, Peter co-founded Propel Investments, an independent Sydney-based private equity manager focused on mid-market investments in Australia and is Managing Director of the firm. Peter joined the AWT Board in August 2007 representing Propel Investments’ major client, one of Australia’s largest public superannuation funds.

 


Richard OSBORNE – Non-executive Director

RICHARD OSBORNE

Richard has previously served as Chief Executive Officer of major public-listed transport companies in Europe and Australia. In 1997 Richard founded New Value Pty Ltd, a specialist consultancy advisory firm providing management and execution-based services to high technology and service companies seeking rapid increments in shareholder value, often via innovative and unconventional means.

Richard supports the company in a strategic advisory role and has served as Non-executive Director since January, 2007.
