AWT Well Technologies Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to encourage students to undertake fields of study which may lead to a career in Petroleum Engineering.  This is one of the most challenging and rewarding areas of the oil and gas industry for engineers to work in as it involves interaction with many other disciplines, collection and analysis of data, modelling and design of solutions and a hands-on approach to achieve business results.

Application Requirements

This one year scholarship is available to students of the University of Western Australia, Curtin University and the University of Adelaide who will be enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in an industry related course in 2009:

 

Applicants should submit a written application providing the following information:

• Why you chose your current field of study.
• What personal interests you have in the petroleum industry and an industry related career.
• Provide a copy of academic results to date, resume and references.
• Describe intended method of funding your studies and any special circumstances which you face that may be improved by award of the scholarship.
• Have you applied for or are you already in receipt of other scholarships?
• Provide contact details for the remainder of the university term and vacation period.
